Give it a Go
GIVE IT A GO
Want to get involved in free, beginner-friendly recreational sports activities at Cambridge? Check out the ‘Give it a Go’ programme! All equipment is provided, every session has a leader who will organise games & help you to develop your skills, and the sessions are all about having fun and making friends.
All you have to do is book your place through the ‘camunisport’ app. Sessions are bookable 7 days before each activity, with most sessions starting during the week commencing Monday 14thOctober.
Check out some quotes from those who attended last year below:
“I would always feel better after running around on the pitch at Give it a Go Women's Football. Having the football to focus on after a long day of thinking about math provided much needed space from my work. Plus, the supportive community aided in the making of friends, which provide vital support!”
“Having a weekly commitment to sport has really helped to break up the intense workload, allowed me to meet new people, and kept me active, benefitting me both physically and mentally”
“It was a great stress relief and a super fun way to get moving and do something different with my friends. All of us were beginners and yet we had such a great time!”
“I was a lot happier after the squash sessions I attended and had energy to do some more work afterwards”
Want to learn more? Head to the Discover Sport at Cambridge page. Make sure to visit us at the annual Sports Fair on Monday 7th October, where you can also meet 77 University Sports Clubs, and find out about our other activities too!
